Who is Alex?

Alex has been developed by the Dutch company Itvanced in response to an increasing global demand for high-quality, cross-program search technologies. The embedded topic map engine is distinctive because it searches on the basis of various criteria and not only within texts. Thus you can rapidly find a much more extensive combination of data. Alex is written in Java and fits easily into the IT-infrastructure of your organisation.

The software, which through its transparent structure can be easily embedded by your IT specialists, is named after the library of Alexandria. In its heyday, this legendary library contained between 400,000 and 600,000 book rolls. Good organisation of the information was also essential even then.
